Check Out All the Stars Who Love PCAs Fashion Icon Gwen Stefani

It’s no secret that we love Gwen Stefani, after all she will be honored with the Fashion Icon Award at the 2019 E! People’s Choice Awards. But, A-list stars also can’t get enough of the “Hollaback Girl” singer.

Of course, her fellow Voice coaches have publicly praised her for being incredible on set of the NBC series. Kelly Clarkson even called her “the nicest human ever” while Adam Levine simply called her “the greatest” after working with her on the show.

Justin Timberlake, Pharrell and Eve have all shown their love for the California native after collaborating with her over the years.

However, it should come as no surprise that Blake Shelton might be Stefani’s No. 1 fan. He took to Twitter to share a special birthday message in celebration of his girlfriend’s 50th birthday that made us swoon. These two are truly too cute together!

Check out all the stars who love the pop rock singer below and don’t miss the People’s Choice Awards airing live on E! this Sunday at 9 p.m.

More People Watched Wednesday’s Democratic Debate Than the Golden Globes

If only Michael Bloomberg could have hosted the Golden Globes. Wednesday’s contentious Democratic presidential primary debate was watched by 20 million people across NBC and MSNBC, a record figure that topped the viewership numbers for both the 2020 Golden Globes (18.3 million) and the 2020 Grammys (18.7 million).

Not that anyone should be totally surprised. Interest in Wednesday’s Las Vegas-hosted showdown was goosed by the first debate stage appearance of Bloomberg, the former New York Mayor who entered the primary race at the 11th hour—and has spent more than $400 million thus far on his campaign, with most of that cost going toward advertising. The billionaire independent proved to be a strong foil for his contenders, especially Senator Elizabeth Warren, who dunked on Bloomberg early and often—to the delight of social media.

“I’d like to talk about who we’re running against, a billionaire who calls women ‘fat broads’ and ‘horse-faced lesbians.’ And no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump: I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg,” Warren said on Wednesday night, in the first of several scorching remarks. “Democrats aren’t going to win if we have a nominee who has a history of hiding his tax returns, of harassing women, and of supporting racist policies like redlining and stop and frisk. … Understand this: Democrats take a huge risk if we just substitute one arrogant billionaire for another.”

Warren, who came into Wednesday trailing Bloomberg in many polls, also attacked the businessman for refusing to release women from non-disclosure agreements signed in the wake of sexual harassment settlements with Bloomberg’s company. “The question is, are the women bound and being muzzled by you?” Warren said. “This is not only a question about the mayor’s character; this is also a question of electability. We are not gonna beat Donald Trump with a man who has who knows how many nondisclosure agreements, and the drip drip drip of stories of women saying they have been harassed and discriminated against.”

But it wasn’t just Warren who had viewers engaged in the debate (though she did get the most buck for her bang: Warren’s campaign reported its biggest fundraising day ever in the wake of Wednesday’s event). Bloomberg himself also took a shot at Bernie Sanders‘ perceived wealth. “The best known socialist in the country happens to be a millionaire with three houses,” Bloomberg said. (“Like thousands of other Vermonters, I do have a summer camp,” Sanders said in response. “Forgive me for that.”) The zinger was the top moment of the night on Twitter, according to the social media platform.

Now compare those fireworks to this year’s Golden Globes, which are remembered for … what, exactly? Ricky Gervais mocking Leonardo DiCaprio for dating younger women (“Leonardo DiCaprio attended the premiere [of The Irishman, and by the end, his date was too old for him”)? Eventual Oscar losers 1917 and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood winning best picture trophies? Or the Grammys, which … happened? Maybe? The only surprise here is that Wednesday’s debate didn’t top the Academy Awards, which dipped to its lowest ratings of all time despite some historic and audience-approved results. Not that we’ll have to wait very long to see if the Oscars’ ratings will fall at the feet of the 2020 Democratic primary as well: the next debate is set for Feb. 25, and will air on CBS and BET.

Jason Wahler Admits to ”Another Slip” in His Sobriety

Jason Wahler continues to be open and honest about his journey with sobriety.

On this morning’s all-new Daily Pop, The Hills: New Beginnings star joined Dr. Drew Pinsky for a special edition of Therapy Thursday.

While discussing his battle with sobriety, Jason revealed to E! News’ Justin Sylvester and Melanie Bromley exclusively that he recently had “another slip.”

“Today I am doing phenomenal, but in an effort of honesty and transparency, since [appearing on Just the Sip] I had another slip,” Jason explained. “What keeps me going is the honesty, the transparency, and being vulnerable. By expressing vulnerability, it creates humility and lets people know they are not alone when this stuff does happen.”

Dr. Drew added, “Jason is an inspiration and miracle…I look at the slips as just learning opportunities for you. The problem is when people slip and just stay out or they start bs’ing and confiscating…This man remains my guiding light. And this is what people don’t understand. They say he’s not staying sober. No, this is a sober dude that is struggling with more and more tender issues as he gets deeper into his sobriety.”

Back in September 2019, Jason appeared on the E! digital series Just the Sip where he discussed a recent relapse. When speaking to Justin, the Celebrity Rehab alum said struggles with his body image triggered his poor decision making.

As for his most recent relapse, Jason says something similar happened.

“It goes back to the body stuff and the insecurities. A lot of that is really where it stems from. At the age of 33, metabolism slows down and not being able to get back in shape and if I take this it will instantly cut off pounds and stuff like that,” he explained.

Dr Drew, who has a variety of shows focused on health, added, “What I hear is he’s getting into the more tender parts of himself and he’s more and more vulnerable and so the symptoms are emerging but it’s because he’s getting more real about who you are and what is going on.”

With the support of professionals and his wife Ashley Wahler, Jason is proud to say he is getting to a spot “where I am actually comfortable in my own skin.” The co-chair of The Red Songbird Foundation is also partnering with his wife on a new YouTube docu-series about their life titled JAWS of Addiction. It is scheduled to come out next month.

During today’s Daily Pop, Ashley also joined in on the conversation and explained why Jason’s recent relapse was unique.

“I think the reason why this was different is because my boundaries are getting stronger. It’s like a muscle I haven’t used ever before and now I am strong in that sense so instead of my boundaries moving with where wherever he goes, my boundaries are very firm,” she shared. “We were all supposed to go up to Northern California together as a family. It was during the holidays and I said, ‘You can’t go. You have to really work on yourself.’  And that was the first time I ever left him to sink in his stuff.”

Today, Jason and Ashley spend three hours a week on their relationship. And yes, they are more united than ever before.

“It’s phenomenal,” Jason explained to us. “Hard work does pay off.”
