LSU now moves up to the top seed in the current CFP projection, replacing Alabama, which drops out altogether. The Tide are replaced in the projection by Oklahoma, which slots into the fourth spot after surviving Iowa State 42-41 on a failed two-point conversion. The hell, OU lost to Kansas state while bama lose to LSU. either it's UGA at 4 or bama a 4 spot, and I'm not even a sec fan.

Oklahoma has a shot.. teams will lose in the upcoming weeks but i do agree they are not playing like a top team at all as of recently.

"top 4 when its all done" is not what your current top 4 but who will be in when the regular season ends. OU doesn't look like a top 10 team right not but their record will be top 5 if they go 12-1.

Is this real? Or, a joke? Oklahoma lost as a 23.5 fav to Kstate. Texas beat Kstate yesterday and Matt (iowa state coach) went for two and not the tie in norman. Wtf is this dbag watching? Omg…. y'alls playoff system is a joke!!! College football fans should be proud. Bunch of amateurs. Go 'Stros!

I'd really like to see Alabama and Oklahoma in a bowl game, but Alabama is obviously gonna make the CFP

Oklahoma? Not Oregon? Why are they just dismissing the Pac-12? It seems to me that the Ducks have fought hard after losing in the final seconds to Auburn on the road to beat both Washington schools who have been owning them lately and then crushed USC after getting their receivers back. The committee should see that if the Ducks played Auburn right now they crush the Tigers by at least 21 they way they are playing now. Meanwhile Oklahoma just won by 1 after losing so I don't get it.

Alabama doesn't want anything to do with Ohio State. Hell I don't think anyone wants that smoke. Go Buckeyes!!!

Alabama has become the new Notre Dame with sport's reporters excusing their beat down by LSU as proof that they should be in the playoffs as it the name Alabama is sacred. Glad to see them losing, their fans are the worst.

I'm sick of human polls! People can be bought! Make it 8 game playoffs. Win your conference go to the playoffs. I don't care what your record is. Win your conference your in. No, 2 teams from the same conference, bs. If your independent then take the two best teams for a independent championship and whoever wins go to the playoffs. No polls no ranking no humans, no excuse! Win your conference go to the playoffs. Like the NFL.

  21. BeerGrills

    11.11.2019 at 02:00

OU’s schedule is bullshit! None of these other teams play out of conference top 10 teams. LSU has beaten 4 top 10 teams. Ohio State loss back to back championships to SEC teams. Like I said from the beginning: two sec teams in the playoffs.

I'd assume Bama will probably go to 4 or 5. Georgia might get 4 over them.

    11.11.2019 at 02:00

This is the biggest load of shit. all these people who are SEC Dick riders are trying their best to keep undeserving sec teams in the top 4. When you have an Ohio state team that takes out their starters at the end of the 1st half and still beat a team 73 to 14 and you're arguing that an Lsu team who beat an Alabama team that is not Alabama team of years past but is an Alabama team that struggling to even stay afloat not to mention the whole game was a game of slop I watched it it was sloppy there was no defense at all it was completely in all offensive game Lsu almost got beat because bama came right back because why? no defense on either side neither one of them are complete teams the buckeyes are a complete team but you cannot stop the media and there they have their babies they gotta get sec teams in the playoffs thats their jobs the same way that they twist the words around of politicians so that they can get the people they want in offfice… they do the same thing everywhere else it is bias. There is no way if the tables were turned that if Alabama beat a team 73 to 14 without using their starters after the 1st half that they would fall down a spot to a team that played very sloppy had no defense ran up the score on another team that was very sloppy and had no defense and then still almost lost in a 4th quarter Lsu only managed to win by 6 points because niether team had any defense. not a whole team. Ohio state are a whole team . This is why the system is flawed because is soon as these fuckin douchebags in suits as soon as their team or who they think should be in loses they go on TV they go on a Podcast and a start making excuses and then on top of that they start tearing down the team that is number one because they want their team to be number 1 but you know what the fact is Ohio state is a complete team so it doesn't matter where you put them at their gonna beat everyone out this year And again win the championship because they are a complete team you can't just have offense and that's all LSU has in fact lsu wasn't even talked about until 3 game 04 games ago and now all the sudden they're number one where were they at the whole 1st part of the season the other 5 games… And Alabama alabama's been sitting on top on the laurels of years past they are not that team anymore so is much is these writers And their guests who agree with their commentary see here is talk about how great Alabama and LSU are the fact of the matter is anyone could watch that game and tell me where there was any significant defensive stops in fact the only defensive plays of note were by alabama as they sacked burrows a number of times….. truth be told Adding teams to the college football playoffs is not what's going to fix the college football playoffs because the more slots they add the more sec teams the riders are gonna try get in there as undeserving as they may be when you have any other teams that would have got beat yesterday like the Alabama got beat they would a drop to 7 or 8 not just dropped to 5th place right on the verge of getting right back in the playoffs… going back to the beginning of the season all these Journalists and experts were talking about the all sec championship before the fucken season even started…. bias.

The only tigers who deserve where they ranked is LSU.

  30. D H

    11.11.2019 at 02:00

Silly — we know the new ranking will be 1.LSU, 2.Alabama, 3.Ohio State, 4.Clemson. And after next week, Clemson will be 3. Ohio State is not part of the racket and already its best player — and the best player in the country — was successfully targeted to be knocked out of the Heisman race and the playing schedule.

LSU beating Alabama only means that there will yet again be 2 SEC teams in the playoff, and Ohio State will have to beat out Clemson or garbage OU for the 4th spot.

I will be pretty surprised if Ohio State is ranked #2 next week.

Bama at western Carolina if that aint a laugher that should show the committee a quality opponent another cream puff roll toad.

  34. Aaron Miles

    11.11.2019 at 02:00

Plus the guy was just making a projection for the playoffs, he wasnt saying that OU should be in the top 4 right now. At least that what I heard. I dont know if OU has the heart of a Baker Mayfield or Kyler Murray

  35. Aaron Miles

    11.11.2019 at 02:00

Bama needs to drop significantly. Make them work their way up. Drop them down to 10. When OU loses in the playoff system they gotta drop 5,6,7 spots. Wheres the parody in this system?

  36. Brandon Garland

I still think Ohio state should be number one. Alabama isn’t that good. That little number three next to their name is just because they haven’t played anyone. LSU should’ve destroyed them and they didn’t. I know OSU played Maryland but we beat them by like 50 just like every other team we’ve played. I still don’t see how you jump someone even if you both win.

Target is the retail trade of 2019, with the stock up nearly 90%

Target is far and away the best performing retail stock of 2019.

After reporting third-quarter results on Wednesday that crushed Wall Street’s expectation, Target shares rose 12% from its previous close of $110.85. Target’s shares are up nearly 90% this year, topping even the strong performances of TJX Companies and Walmart, and is this year’s sixth-best performing stock on the S&P 500 index.

«We thought the market was already pricing in more of TGT’s progress, but today’s results (esp. margin expansion) came in well above even the most bullish expectations,» Goldman Sachs wrote in a note to investors.

Target also raised its profit outlook for the full year, ahead of the all-important holiday shopping season, while cutting the cost of handling online orders.

«Overall, we believe Target’s strategic transformation initiatives—price investment in everyday items, differentiating merchandising with new private brands, remodeling stores, and investing in digital and delivery, including Shipt—are resonating with consumers,» Telsey Advisory Group wrote in a note to investors.

Options trader Pete Najarian believes Target’s stock will climb even higher, saying on CNBC’s «Halftime Report» that he expects more strong revenue from the company’s investment in private label products.

«When you look at what’s going on with Target – whether it’s in the grocery space or the rest of the store, and there’s five different segments to their store in terms of revenue streams – they have private label everywhere and that is something that will be huge for them. That just helps and is something that’s going to kick in for Target in the future as well,» Najarian said.

– CNBC’s Michael Bloom and Lauren Thomas contributed to this report.
