‘This Is Us’ Star Chris Sullivan Expecting First Child With Wife Rachel – Hollywood Life

Published

on

‘This Is Us’ star is Chris Sullivan is going to be a first time dad, just like his character Toby on the NBC weeper is. His wife Rachel is pregnant and we’ve got his rather naughty gender reveal.

Congrats are in store for This Is Us star Chris Sullivan and his wife Rachel. The couple is expecting their first child, and the 39-year-old actor who plays Toby Damon on the NBC drama used a very saucy way to give hints about the about the baby’s gender. “WE’RE HAVING OUR FIRST BABY! And we just found out the sex. Swipe through for the gender reveal!” he posted to Instagram on Jan. 24, along with a sonogram photo to start things out. Once fans started swiping, it became pretty obvious if it was a boy or girl.

First up was a photo of a peeled banana, then the leaning tower of Pisa. That was followed  a tall, tan building shaped like a penis, a tall, thin phallic shaped rock, several pics of clouds and cactii that formed the shape of a penis and finally a diagram of the male reproductive system. Ok, we get it. It’s a boy!

His wife Rachel was a little more straightforward with her Instagram post about the baby news. She shared the same sonogram pic and joked about her husband’s sense of humor in the caption. “It’s TRUE!!! You heard it from @sullivangrams we are having a BOY!! So excited!! Nursery is in the works, names are being workshopped, doulas are being interviewed, naps are my go-to self care bc I’m just so ?, so much to do and yet so much not to do, just enjoying the moment…life is good! #gratitude #pregnancy #naptime #love,” she wrote.

Some of Chris’ co-stars are just now finding out the big news the several of them — as well other celebs and fans — hit up the comments section to send their love. Susan Kelechi Watson, who plays Beth Pearson, left blue heart emojis, and Eris Baker, who stars as Tess Pearson, commented “Congratulations!!!! This is sooooo exciting!” Parker Bates, who plays young Kevin Pearson, wrote, “Ahhhh so excited!!! ??????Congrats!!!” and  Niles Fitch, who potrays young Randall Pearson, added “CONGRATS!.”

Actress Jennifer Garner left “?????♥️♥️♥️♥️” emoji’s to Chris’ big news, while longtime former The Bachelor/Bachelorette producer Elan Gale wrote, “Yayyyyyyy.” Guardians of the Galaxy star Sean Gunn joked about Chris’ gender reveal, leaving the comment, “I’m pretty sure you’re having a boy with 8 penises?”

The Voice Coaches Are Not Going to Let Nick Jonas Win

Published

on

The Voice coaches might have their work cut out for them with their new coworker.

Nick Jonas joins this season as a coach for the first time alongside Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton, and as Kelly pointed out when E!’s Will Marfuggi sat down with them, Nick is some serious competition right out of the gate.

“He’s been working since he was so young that it’s really the same amount of years as me, but it’s just a different age bracket,” she said. “You forget that he’s been doing this since he was a boy, like a little boy. That’s really helpful having any kind of experience, on many different stages…I was nervous about that, because he is actually quite a threat in that sense.”

John and Blake, meanwhile, aren’t even sure of his name, and are doing their best to ignore him. Joe Nas, maybe? Even the legendarily nice John Legend is suspicious of how nice Nick is.

“He’s too nice. I don’t trust it,” John says. “I’m like, what’s your angle?”

Especially during the blind auditions, Blake says, they’ve been trying to keep Nick from speaking too much.

“I have a ton of respect for Nick as an artist and as a human being, but I don’t give a crap about him as a coach, let’s be honest,” he says.

As for Nick, he feels like the hazing is all part of the game.

“It’s a great crew. They already had their chemistry having done a few seasons together already, so coming into it, I think the first day I was kind of getting comfortable, and by day two, it was locked,” he said. “I think our chemistry started to really click, and I was like wow, they took the gloves off, and this is real now.”

While the other coaches are desperate to keep Nick from winning, the stakes for the newbie are huge. His brothers Joe and Kevin, who serve as his advisors this season, apparently plan to disown him if he loses.

“At least I have my dog, and my wife,” Nick joked.

The Voice premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Vanessa Bryant Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Company In Kobe & Gigi’s Helicopter Crash

Published

on

#Roommates, Vanessa Bryant is officially taking legal action due to the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of her husband Kobe Bryant and her 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Bryant. Vanessa has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company that owned the helicopter, as well as the pilot who flew that day.

According to TMZ, Vanessa Bryant is not letting the heartbreaking deaths of her husband and daughter go with consequence, as it’s been reported that she has just filed a wrongful death lawsuit. Vanessa has just sued Island Express, the company that owned the helicopter that crashed and ultimately killed Kobe Bryant and Gigi Bryant along with seven other passengers.

The lawsuit claims that the helicopter should never have been placed in the path of danger it was in prior to the fateful accident on January 26th. Additionally, the lawsuit further alleges that Island Express was only allowed to fly under visual flight rules, however the conditions on the day of the crash were not conducive for such flying. As you’ll recall from previous reports, the fog was extremely low that day and the pilot was in blinding conditions.

#VanessaBryant has just sued the company that owned the helicopter that crashed, killing Kobe, Gigi. The suit claims the aircraft should never have been placed in the peril it was in before the accident, according to @tmz_tv. ______________ The lawsuit further alleges Island Express was only allowed to fly under visual flight rules, and the conditions the day of the deadly crash were not conducive for such flying.  As previously reported, the fog was extremely low and the pilot was in blinding conditions before the mishap. _______________ In Vanessa’s lawsuit it also states that the pilot was going 180 miles per hour in the heavy fog in a steep decline. Additionally it claims the pilot failed to properly monitor and assess the weather prior to takeoff, failed to obtain proper weather data prior to the flight, failed to abort the flight when he knew of the cloudy condition, failed to maintain control of the helicopter and failed to avoid “natural obstacles” in the flight path. _________________ The amount of damages Vanessa is seeking is not revealed, but she is seeking punitive damages that could total millions.

As for the pilot, Ara George Zobayan, the lawsuit targets him also, pointing out that he was going180 miles per hour in the heavy fog in a steep decline mere moments before crashing the helicopter in Calabasas, California. The lawsuit also claims that Zobayan didn’t properly monitor and assess the weather prior to takeoff, failed to obtain proper weather data prior to the flight, failed to abort the flight when he knew of the cloudy condition, failed to maintain control of the helicopter and failed to avoid “natural obstacles” in the flight path. Zobayan’s 2015 violation for visual flight rule minimums for flying into airspace with reduced visibility, was also brought up in the lawsuit.

Island Express was further named in the lawsuit due to engaging in unnecessary and needlessly risky means of transportation under the circumstances. Vanessa is asking for damages for “pre-impact” terror — damages for the emotional trauma Kobe and Gigi suffered as the pilot struggled to get out of the clouds before the crash.

The lawsuit also seeks further damages for loss of love, affection, care, society, service, comfort, support, right to support, companionship, solace or moral support and expectations of future support and counseling—and also compensation for loss of financial support and for burial and funeral expenses.

As of right now, the amount of damages has not been made public, but given that Vanessa is asking for punitive damages, the lawsuit could easily total millions.

Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
